B1G baseball: Tournament bracket, matchups and broadcast info

With the regular season now in the rearview mirror, eight B1G teams are heading to Omaha with a chance to punch an automatic ticket to the NCAA Tournament.

The regular season came to a close last weekend, finalizing the bracket for this year’s B1G Baseball Tournament. A double-elimination tournament is set for Charles Schwab Field in Omaha to determine a winner with an auto-bid hanging in the balance.

Sunday, the B1G released the bracket for this year’s tournament. Here’s a look at the complete field:

Here’s a look at Wednesday’s schedule, the first day of the B1G Tournament. All games are set to air on Big Ten Network this week:

• No. 3 Iowa vs. No. 6 Penn State — 9 a.m. ET
• No. 2 Rutgers vs. No. 7 Purdue — 1 p.m. ET
• No. 1 Maryland vs. No. 8 Indiana — 5 p.m. ET
• No. 4 Illinois vs. No. 5 Michigan — 9 p.m. ET
