B1G baseball: A look at the standings in the final week of the regular season

Things are heating up on the diamond in the B1G.

This week marks the final one of the regular season for B1G baseball and teams are working towards securing a spot in the conference tournament. Some squads are safely in while others are on the bubble.

For the B1G Tournament, the Top 8 teams in the conference standings at the end of the regular season earn a spot in the field. The others will have to wait until next season to make a postseason push.

Here’s a look at the standings with one week remaining:

• No. 8. Purdue: 9-10 (29-17)

The B1G Baseball Tournament will be held from May 25-29, 2022 at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha. Every tournament game is scheduled to be aired on Big Ten Network.
