Aidan Hutchinson is having a memorable and historic rookie season with the Detroit Lions. In the second quarter of the Week 11 road game versus the New York Giants, the former Michigan Wolverines defensive end picked off Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.

This is the second interception for Hutchinson this season. He becomes the first rookie this season to for multiple sacks and interceptions.

Going into Week 11, Hutchinson has ed for 28 total tackles, 19 solo tackles, 5.5 sacks, 4 tackles for loss, 10 quarterback hits, and an interception. His first interception came in the second drive of the 15-9 home win in Week 10 over the Green Bay Packers.
Hutchinson is a serious candidate to win the 2022 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year as Jacksonville linebacker Devin Llyod, New York Jets cornerback Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner, former Purdue Boilermaker and Kansas City defensive end George Karlaftis, and Jacksonville linebacker Travon Walker all Hutchinson as serious candidates.
Detroit currently leads 17-6 over the Giants at halftime.
