Ohio State QB announces he’s transferring

We certainly can’t say this is unexpected.
After competing for the staring job this spring, Ohio State QB Joe Burrow announced via Twitter that he’s transferring from the university. Burrow graduated from OSU on Sunday and has two years of eligibility left.
Burrow spent this spring competing with fellow QBs Dwayne Haskins and Tate Martell, and Burrow’s departure likely means Haskins will be the starting QB, although no official announcement has been made.
Also, Burrow’s departure means OSU doesn’t have a backup with any experience on the roster, and that’s not exactly comforting.
After weeks of struggling with this decision, I have decided to leave Ohio State and explore other options. My teammates and coaches all know the love I feel for them. I will decide where I will play next year in the coming weeks.
